How to enter predictions

If you want to participate in Prediki, invest your credits. If - in your opinion - the current market price of an answer is too low, then you can "go long", meaning invest "for" the answer. If the market price is too high you can "go short", invest "against" it. After your transaction, the market price will immediately change for the next trader. Everybody can observe this on the price chart.

Instructions

  1. Click the trading-icon (the "chart") on top of the question page to open the trading section.
  2. Consider which future result you believe will happen. Click the "for" field of this answer.
  3. Enter a number of credits to invest, expressing your belief with the size of your investment.
  4. Click the green checkmark-icon to send your trade.
  5. Finished!

What's next?

Now you are participating and will be informed when the question settles. If the question has a real-money incentive, you can win a share of it. The better and earlier your prediction, compared to other traders, the higher your share will be.

The experienced trader will invest in multiple answers, or against unlikely answers. When your opinion changes, you can update your trades anytime. Any trades effected after the final result becomes known will be ignored by the system.
