First design-release and interface improvements

Last week, Prediki launched its first design release. At the same time, two key pages have been reworked in consideration of your feedback during Prediki’s Beta phase.

  • We restructured the question page. Now you can access the trading interface and Prediki's in-built social messaging directly from the main question page.
  • We also reworked the overview page, which now boasts pictures, improved context and faster navigation to your topics.

The user numbers on Prediki’s German language website are rising steadily, and we would be delighted if you like the improvements.

Prediki Prediction Services Announces $650K USD in Seed Financing

Prediki Prediction Services GmbH today announced the closing of a seed financing round of $650K USD (€500K) from Austria’s Federal Promotion Bank, Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH (AWS), which is funded by the Ministry of Economics’ JITU initiative.

Prediki’s core product is its innovative platform for collaborative predictions and analysis for future questions of all kinds. The Company is currently operating in stealth mode, and is accessible to selected customers and contributors on an invitation-only basis.

“Every day, decision makers in companies, organizations, and governments are faced with uncertainty, bias, conflicting assumptions and outright misinformation about the future. Prediki’s patent-pending collaborative technology can unveil information about the future where traditional market research and opinion survey instruments have proven unreliable or inapplicable,” said Hubertus Hofkirchner, CEO of Prediki. “We are proud that AWS has chosen Prediki for its prestigious and highly competitive Seed Financing Program.”

The seed round funding will be applied to round off the platform’s functionality, for predictive calibrations, and to drive initial traction of Prediki’s English and German language versions. The public launch of Prediki is scheduled for Q1 2013.
