What is the Profit/Loss field in the trading interface?

Prediki's trading interface shows - at the bottom - your unrealised profit and loss in Credits. This "P&L" is the difference between the amount of credits originally invested in the answer options and the current valuation of your investment at current market prices (mark-to-market). This shows you always how you are doing. If the market moves according your prediction, your unrealised profit rises, if not you collect unrealised losses.

Of course, only reality will tell in the end if you are right or wrong. Unrealised P/L is an indicator but no more.

How do I realise profits?

  • You can either "lock-in" the current P&L by selling your investments ("squaring your position").
  • Or you can simply take notice of the current P&L and wait for the final outcome of a question.

Where do my realised profits show?

If you realise profits or losses, your trading account will be credited instantly. Click the "Credits" field on top right to check the free credit balance on your Trading Account and how much is tied up in your Trading Position.
