§ Judgement rule

How will the final result of the question be determined?

The prediction question shall be judged by the 2025 edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) for the countries with a GDP greater US$40,000. The relevant indicator shall be GEM's Total Early Entrepreneurship Activity (TEA) which is the percentage of adults claiming to be actively engaged in starting a new business.

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2022 (GEM-22) offers evidence on entrepreneurial activity, based on respondents' claims in extensive interviews in 2021 with some 150,000 individuals across 50 different economies, which together represent around 68% of global Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and 45% of the world’s population [1].

Canada, Saudi Arabia, and the United States of America had the highest number of people claiming an entrepreneurial activity during the 2021 interviews. Norway, Italy, and Japan came last.

Prize money
