Prediki is an internet platform for predictions and analysis. It is universally applicable to just about any topic, including economic, scientific, or social predictions. All content is crowdsourced, Prediki merely facilitates access to human intelligence in the form of expert knowledge and predictions ("Humans as a Service").

Process

Everybody can enter new questions about the future for publication on Prediki. Questions may be public or confidential, for a closed user group only. Prediki is designed for maximium openness: Other participants can rephrase the question, restate more precises judgement cirteria or suggest additional answer options to a question.

In practice, predictive and analytical activity starts, when somebody - this may be the question owner or an independent sponsor - provides incentive money for a question. Once a question is set up and incentives become available, knowledgeable and interested users virtually trade the possible answers. The earlier or the more precise an user's predictions turn out in relation to the final outcome, the larger such user's share of incenitive monies.

Information

An answer's current price represents the collective prediction of all participants, in essence summarising public opinion. Charts visualize current predictions and trends. Users can further contribute to the trading and predictive process through verbal analysis in a structured wiki articel or through community messages.

Users can categorise questions and subscribe to such category topics, thus customising their news feed for questions and incentives of their interest. Lat but not lease, Prediki's algorithms constantly determine the leading experts for every topic, based upon their past trading performance.
